Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho has been ban for three games after he tried to grab Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk’s nose after a Turkish Cup game.

The incident occurred after the final whistle at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium on Wednesday. With the two managers speaking to the referee following Galatasaray’s 2-1 win.
Mourinho approached Buruk from behind and appeared to pinch his nose. With the 51-year-old former Turkey midfielder falling to the ground with his hands covering his face. The Portuguese, who previously managed Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham, was also fine 292,500 Turkish lira (£5,955).
Fenerbahce accuse Buruk of “looking like he had been shot”. And said he made an “disrespectful hand gesture” to provoke Mourinho.
The Professional Football Disciplinary Commission (PFDK) said it had considered Buruk’s actions. That result in Mourinho เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง having his ban reduce due to “provocation”.
Mourinho’s assistant Salvatore Foti was ban for four games for “insulting a player of an opposition team”. Fenerbahce substitute Mert Jandas and Galatasaray substitutes Kerem Demirbay and Baris Yilmaz were shown red cards for tackling an opponent between the benches in stoppage time.
Midfielder Jandas, 30, was ban for one match.
Tensions between the two clubs have already escalated after Galatasaray said in February they would “initiate criminal proceedings” against Mourinho after claiming he made “racist remarks” following a goalless draw in February.
Fenerbahce said on Friday that the Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office had dropped Galatasaray’s criminal charges against Mourinho.
