Throughout this time, I have tried to grow every day as a footballer and as a person, with humility, effort and pride in defending the goal of Espanyol.’

‘I have given everything I have to help the team, represent the badge with all my heart and live up to what it means to wear this shirt. I know this decision will not be easy for everyone to understand. I’m not asking you to do that. But I want you to know that it has been a well-thought-out decision. Not only for my football career, but also for what is best for the club, my family and myself.’

‘This is not a simple farewell, but a moment to end with the belief that everything I’ve experienced has made me better. I would like to thank the coaches, my teammates, the staff and everyone involved in the day-to-day running of the club. Especially Ramonette and everyone who went with me to the house of Josep Manel Casanova. Without you, I would not be who I am today. I have more than just football, friendships, values, lessons learned and unforgettable memories, such as the 23rd of June that I will never forget. ‘

‘And above all, thank you to the fans. From day one, I’ve felt your love and in the hardest times, your support is what keeps me going. You make me feel like I’m part of something big. I’m leaving with a heart full of gratitude, knowing that this journey has both sweet and hard times.’

‘But all those moments made me grow up. I defended those shirts with everything I had and that will always be a source of pride for me. Now a new challenge begins, I face it with enthusiasm but with the utmost respect for everything I left behind. Thank you for everything, goodbye Espanyol.’
